I'm really excited to share this mini kit with you - I love the color palette and theme, and I'm so happy to be designing again!
This mini kit started with a design challenge at Pixel Scrapper, even though I haven't made anything in a while, I still check in there often to see what others are up to. The theme "Be Brave" has been on my mind a lot lately as I'm looking to make some changes and decisions to create the life I want. I knew I wanted to use gold and glitter, and I found a picture that inspired the palette - which actually changed after making the first paper, I took out the soft colors and went bold and bright.
I enjoyed channeling the inspiration and encouragement I'm feeling into a fun digi kit that I can share. I'm really happy with the way it turned out and I hope you'll enjoy using it. I'd love to see what you create!
I'm also trying out new packaging and a new logo... what do you think??

Thanks so much for stopping by, and check back next week for my contribution to the Pixel Scrapper May 2014 Blog Train!

Freebie: Cherry Blossom
Today I have a beautiful new kit to share with you - Cherry Blossom by Hat of Bunny, it is the perfect kit to scrap your early spring memories. It will be on sale from April 10th-14th for $1 a pack, or $3 for the whole kit - an amazing deal!
When the cherry blossom blooms in the first weeks of spring, it's truly a spectacular sight to behold; the whole tree explodes in pink flowers, beckoning the warm and cheery days ahead. In Japanese culture, especially, the cherry blossom ("sakura") has much significance, and stands for (among other things) beauty and life. With a mix of watercolor and washi textures, this kit captures the soft and ethereal spirit of the cherry blossom.
Some inspiration from myself and the Hat of Bunny Creative Team:
I loved this kit so much I made a little freebie, enjoy!

And don't forget the free matching journal cards at the Hat of Bunny facebook page, and a quick page at Robin's blog.
